Aakash tablet will have a 7-inch touchscreen display with 800×480 pixels resolution and will run on Google’s yet most popular mobile platform, Android v2.2 Froyo. The tablet also includes graphics accelerator and HD video processor paired with 256MB RAM and 2GB of internal storage. We’re going to offer the commercial version of this tablet and the commercial version will have a 3G option, however you may also use an external 3G dongle to get the 3G experience.
The most interesting thing is it’s price, the commercial version of Aakash tablet (Ubislate7) will cost you around Rs. 3000. But why to spend money when you have the chance to grab this amazing tablet for free.

Although there is so much Hype going around about the Aakash tablet, I am yet to be convinced… Winning it and getting a hands on feel to it might change my mind…only time will tell…Would like to win it though…
